The loyalty card excels in physical stores by effectively identifying customers. It also enables real-world campaigns that surprise and delight your customers.
JeriCommerce deeply integrates with Shopify, providing features that allow you to take advantage of this capability.
All your physical locations on Shopify will be synchronized with JeriCommerce, meaning you can effortlessly use these locations to create location-based campaigns in your stores.
Sometimes, you may create locations for specific campaigns that are not linked to your stores. This allows you to establish places that exist only on the JeriCommerce side, not on Shopify.
This feature can be particularly useful for setting up pop-up stores to display notification banners or for areas near multi-brand malls where the Shopify POS cannot be used. You can still inform your customers that you have a store in that location.
You can create these locations from our admin area under "Settings > Locations & Devices." You will always see the "Created On" property, which indicates whether it is synchronized with Shopify or exists only on the JeriCommerce side.
To better utilize the features of the loyalty card, you could install devices at the location. You could add two types of devices: iBeacons and NFC readers.
Both serve different functions but are truly powerful for brands seeking to create a WOW effect for their customers.
Bluetooth technology can be used to provide location-based notifications, but it has a shorter range than geo-located systems.
These devices can be configured to display mobile notifications within a range of 10 to 50 meters, compared to the 80 to 100 meters of geo-located systems.
This technology is very common for phone payments and can now be used to identify customers with just a tap. Each NFC reader can be linked to a POS system or used independently.
If it is linked, after the customer taps, the POS assigns the current cart to the customer. If it is not linked to a POS, you can use the tap event from Shopify Flows, Klaviyo Events, or our API to implement marketing strategies.
The most direct way to use it is through location campaigns, which only work with Apple devices because Android does not support geo-located campaigns or iBeacons in their wallets.
It can also be used with an NFC reader that you can pair with specific POS systems in your stores to easily identify customer purchases or any other flow you can imagine. Check out our use cases to understand the full potential.
