One of the main reasons JeriCommerce exists is to encourage customers to easily use the benefits of the loyalty program without friction.
A loyalty program based on rewards motivates customers to redeem their points. However, sometimes customers are unaware of how many points they have or that a new reward is available with the points they already possess.
To eliminate this confusion, we created a new event called "Reward Redeemable"
This event triggers every time a customer accumulates enough points in their balance to redeem a reward. This trigger is available for both JeriCommerce rewards and Loyalty Lion rewards.
There are multiple ways to use this trigger in your loyalty strategy. Here, we show where you could apply it, and just your imagination is the limit.
You can use it within Shopify flows, where we have a trigger called "Reward Redeemable." This trigger includes useful properties, such as the reward title and the reward link to display on our web app.
With this information, you could create a simple flow triggered by this event. It would then send a push notification to the customer's wallet, allowing them to open the reward directly.
As part of the JeriCommerce architecture, all the triggers available on Shopify flows are also accessible on Klaviyo, with the same properties described earlier.
You can use it to send an email or a push to the wallet to inform customers that a new reward is available, just as we did with Shopify flows. However, keep in mind that the link is only valid when it is included in a push notification to the wallet, not through other methods like email or SMS.
