Create Different Loyalty Card Designs for Tiers and Segments

Customize the pass experience based on customer status through tier or segment assignments

You can customize the Loyalty Card design in JeriCommerce based on customer tiers or segments. This allows you to deliver a more personalized experience by changing the appearance of the pass as the customer progresses through your loyalty program or is assigned to a specific group.

Default Design

The Default Design is the base version of the Loyalty Card. It is shown to all customers who are not currently assigned to any tier or segment.

This design includes:

  • The main visual layout (colors, background image, text)
  • A set of default links on the back of the pass

These default links will always be visible across all versions of the pass, including tier or segment-specific designs.

Tier-Based Designs

If you have loyalty tiers configured, you’ll be able to create a separate Wallet Pass design for each one. These tier-specific designs appear in the Wallet Pass Design page only if your store is connected to a 3rd party loyalty software or uses an API integration that provides tier data.

Important:
Tiers are not managed directly in JeriCommerce. If your loyalty program does not support tier data or is not integrated via API, the tier-based designs will not be available.

When available, each tier design allows you to:

  • Customize the front of the pass (e.g. background, text, colors)
  • Add additional links to the back of the pass

You cannot remove or hide the default links—these will always be present.

Once saved, the Wallet Pass will automatically update when a customer moves from one tier to another.

Segment-Based Designs

In addition to tiers, you can assign different pass designs to customer segments using the API. This allows you to display different versions of the Wallet Pass to specific customer groups that are not tied to a loyalty program.

For example, you might assign custom designs to:

  • Subscribers to a specific plan
  • Early access or VIP groups
  • Customers based on location or behavior

Like with tier designs, segment-specific designs allow you to customize the front and add new links to the back, while the default links remain visible.

Changes in segment assignment (via API) will automatically update the customer’s Wallet Pass with the correct design.
