Earning flows

Verifying customer accounts is an important step to ensure authenticity and build trust in your loyalty program. With the “Credit Points after verifying the account” earning flow, you can encourage customers to complete this step by rewarding them with points once their account is verified.

This flow helps reduce fake or duplicate accounts and motivates customers to finish their registration process.

How is the earning calculated?

The points awarded are a fixed amount defined by you in the configuration settings.

The process works as follows:

  1. You define how many points are given for verifying the account.
  2. A customer with an unverified account completes the verification process (via email or other available methods).
  3. Once the verification is confirmed, the system credits the defined points to the customer’s account.

⚠️ Important: This reward is granted only once per customer, since verification is a one-time action.

Example

The merchant configures the “Credit Points after verifying the account” flow to 10 points.

  • A new customer registers an account but has not verified it yet.
  • The customer clicks the verification link in their email and successfully verifies their account.
  • Immediately after verification, the system credits 10 points to their balance.

If the customer attempts to verify again, no further points are awarded, since the action is already completed.
