Credit Points for Social Media Follows

Building a loyalty program isn’t only about rewarding purchases—it’s also about creating stronger relationships with your customers. With the “Credit Points when following us” earning flow, you can reward customers who follow your brand on social networks like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), or YouTube.

This helps you grow your social media audience while giving customers a simple way to earn extra points.

How is the earning calculated?

The points awarded are a fixed amount you define for each social network. Each platform (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube) can have its own reward value.

The process works as follows:

  1. You configure the username/handle of your brand for each social platform.
  2. You define how many points a customer receives for following you on that platform (minimum 1 point).
  3. The customer clicks the social profile link from their loyalty card or web app.
  4. When the click is confirmed, the system credits the defined points to the customer’s account.

⚠️ Important: The points are given per platform, not per click. Once a customer has earned points for following you on a specific network, they cannot earn points again for the same action.

Example

The merchant enables the “Credit Points when following us” flow and sets these values:

  • Instagram: 10 points
  • TikTok: 15 points
  • YouTube: 5 points

A customer opens their loyalty card, clicks the Instagram link, and follows the brand. They immediately receive 10 points.
Later, the same customer clicks the TikTok link and follows there too—they receive 15 points more.
If the customer clicks Instagram again, no additional points are credited, since the action has already been rewarded.
