How do JeriCommerce Rewards work?

Understand how the rewards created on JeriCommerce work and how to use them

JeriCommerce has a built-in rewards system that is ready to use with your program, as long as you are not using another loyalty program like Loyalty Lion.
Rewards are a crucial component of a loyalty program, designed to encourage customer loyalty based on actions or lifetime spending.

The core feature of rewards in a loyalty program is that it allows customers to choose how to spend their balance, rather than relying on a direct coupon determined by the merchant.
Customers can select from a list of rewards, each with a redemption cost, and receive a code to use in your store.

For that reason, we provide a basic yet powerful reward functionality as part of our loyalty stack. It can also be combined with other loyalty programs through the API, for example.

How activate it?

To activate the JeriCommerce reward, go to Settings > Integrations > JeriCommerce and enable the "Rewards" feature.
After that, you will see the reward option in the loyalty submenu of the side menu.

How do I configure them?

When you create a reward, you will see four main configurations: Look & Feel, Redeem Cost, Usage Conditions, and Associated Discount. Let's revise each section to understand the full potential.

Look & Feel

You can configure the title, image, and description that your customers will see on their rewards list here.
If you upload an image, we recommend doing so for all the other rewards; otherwise, the list will appear empty. If you don't upload any images, we won't display the space for them, which may seem inconsistent.

Redeem Cost

This section defines the cost to redeem this reward and the amount that will be deducted from the balance to obtain the coupon.
The cost could be 0, meaning that after redeeming the reward, the customer will retain the same balance as before.
This option can be useful in certain situations.

Usage conditions

This is the most configurable part. Here is how you decide which customers can see the reward and when they can redeem it.

Visibility restrictions

Define the balance range that enables a customer to view the reward, even if they do not have enough balance to redeem it.

Redeemability Restriction

Maximum redemption times per customer: Specify how many times the same customer can redeem this reward.
Balance range for redemption: Define the balance range that a customer must have to be eligible for redemption.

Associated disccount

Here is where you can link a Shopify discount claim each time a customer redeems this reward.
The associated discount will be automatically claimed and displayed to the customer for use in your store.
There is also the possibility to upload a CSV file containing a bundle of discounts, always as unique codes, to provide to customers for each claim.
We ensure that a new unique code is given to the customer for each new redemption.

How Show to the customer?

When you have your reward configured, you can add a link in your sections that opens the rewards page directly.
Simply add a link to a section, click on the variables icon in the link field, and select "Rewards Page."

Rewards Page Link

The same variable used here ( {{linkCustomerAppRewards}} ) could also be used on push notifications links.
